When using the Ultra Bee brake kit on non-UB models, natural drag or binding may occur due to fitment differences. The optimized RE797 Gen 3 brake version has fully resolved this issue for smoother, proper operation.

Brake rotors face their greatest threat from heat—excessive temperature leads to fade, softening, accelerated wear, and eventual warping. The outer ring features micro-venting geometry that channels airflow through the rotor, using the wheel’s rotation to create a negative-pressure pull that actively draws cooling air inside, boosting heat dissipation by up to 20%.
The inner saw-tooth structure disrupts the thermal boundary layer and accelerates heat exchange, allowing cool air to contact the rotor surface more effectively—acting like fan blades that move air, remove heat, and keep braking performance consistent under extreme use.
The kit includes a 240mm × 2.8mm Moto Steel Rotor, optimized for heat dissipation and consistent braking under repeated hard stops. A pre-bled 2-piston DOT3/4 fluid caliper with 3mm sintered brake pads provides sharper response and improved clamping force compared to OEM. The steel hydraulic line ensures reliable performance under high pressure, while the thick, premium caliper bracket and master cylinder provide a precise fit and long-term reliability. Ergonomic brake levers are included for easy installation.
With this upgrade, riders experience stronger braking force, consistent performance during extended rides, and durable components built to withstand aggressive trail or street riding. The system is designed to work seamlessly with Light Bee stock geometry, requiring no custom fabrication. Optimized for modulation and control, it gives riders confidence on technical trails, city streets, or fast open sections.
The complete kit includes the Ultra Bee–Style Moto DOT calipers, levers, and hydraulic lines (the rear brake line is approximately 59", compatible with most extended swingarms), two 240mm rotors, and brake mounts.
Tips for Installation: The installation requires removing the wheels and the battery compartment plastics to allow the caliper to pass through, but bleeding is not necessary thanks to the large capacity of the hydraulic system. The estimated installation time is about one hour.
Compatibility Notice
1. Fits Fast Ace, DNM & OEM forks.
2. Removing a few millimeters from the RFLOXA caliper mount can improve rotor and caliper clearance.
3. For MX wheels with a 12mm full dish design, installation on Surron or similar models may cause spoke interference with the UB brake housing.
Solution: Milling the brake housing's rear may be needed for proper fitment.
